A two vehicle accident at e 12th and French ST. sent 2 to the hospital.  Responding units received information of a vehicle on fire as well as an accident.

Erie Fire Department Engine #11 arrived on location reported a working car fire as well as a second vehicle the roadway into 

a cement barrier both with heavy damage.  The fire was quickly extinguished,  EMS 49 transported two to Hamot Shock Trauma for evaluation.

Erie Police are investigating.
