Just after 7 a.m. Kuhl Hose and Emergycare units were dispatched to the 9400 block of Wattsburg Rd, just south of Kuhl Rd.  Chief 690 reported a 5 vehicle accident on arrival.  A secondary size up reported a 6th vehicle involved.  There were two separate three vehicle accidents.  The early morning sun caused visibility to be impaired and may have contributed to the early morning pile up.  Two patients were transported to area hospitals, one to ST. Vincent, and one to Hamot Shock Trauma.  Crews were on scene for just under an hour securing vehicles and assisting the State Police.  The accident is under investigation by the State Police.
