Perry Hiway was dispatched to the Giant Eagle on Peach St for an investigation.  On arrival they encountered smoke conditions and the 2nd alarm was dispatched.  Crews from Perry Hiway, McKean & Kearsarge located the fire in an oven in the bakery.  Crews had to dismantle the oven before they were able to extinguish the fire.  Truck crews from Perry Hiway, Kearsarge, & West Ridge checked for extension in the attic space above the bakery.  Once crews confirmed they had the fire extinguished, Ventilation began.

Kuhl Hose and Edinboro established RIT staging area's in Side A and the C/D corner.  EMS / Rehab was also set up on Side A. 

Crews were on the scene for about 3 hours.  No injuries were reported.  The Erie County Health Department was notified.
