Squad 687 and Rescue/Engine 683 were requested to assist Wattsburg at a 2 vehicle accident near Loweville on RT 8 just after noon. 683 arrived and was directed by command to begin disentanglement of a critical patient trapped in a small auto. Kuhl Hose and Emergycare extricated the patient and transferred care to Life Star who transported the patient to Hamot Shock Trauma. Belle Valley Rescue 38 disentangled the 2nd patient in a mini van. After extrication the patient was transported to Hamot Shock Trauma by Emergycare. A 3rd patient with minor injuries was also transported. The accident is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
