01/21/12 - Kuhl Hose along with Union City, Elgin, Waterford, & Corry Fire Departments were dispatched to assist Wattsburg at a structure fire in Phillipsville.  On arrival Chief 171 confirmed a working fire.  172 and 683 Engines arrived set up on Side A and began a defensive attack.  Union City 1132 & 1139 worked to protect exposures on the C & D sides of the building.  682 Engine supplied Tenders 685, 686, 176, & 145 from a drafting site a short distance from the fire.  Those tenders supplied 683 & 1132 while Engine 174 supplied Elgin 756 from a separate drafting site.  The fire was quickly knocked down but overhaul took several hours.  REHAB 68 was on the scene to provide support for the 60 firefighters.  The fire is under investigation by the Wattsburg Hose Co.
