12/31 - Early afternoon, New Years Eve, Waterford was dispatched to Circuit St in Waterford for a reported house fire.  Chief 151 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire.  Crews arrived and attempted an attack on the fire.  The fire appeared to have a good start time prior to being reported as no one was home.  Also high winds, snow and cold hampered efforts to contain the blaze.  Waterford was initially assisted by Union City, Mill Village and Edinboro.  Kuhl Hose was requested by 38 RIT on scene to respond and take the RIT assignment as their crew was going to work.  68 crews held RIT until command determined all efforts were to be exterior.  A scaled back RIT crew staged while all exterior efforts were conducted.  The fire is under investigation.
