02/05 - Kuhl Hose and Emergycare units were sent to Lake Pleasant Rd between
Dutch Rd & Etter Rd for a 2 vehicle accident. Pennsylvania State Game
Commission found the accident and reported minor injuries, but zero
visibility and requested the road be closed for reasons of safety.
Medic 193 assessed the driver of the car who reported no injuries. 680
attempted to locate the 2nd vehicle for about 20 minutes in the white out
conditions. Once the pick up truck was located the driver also
reported no injuries. The car was stuck in the snow bank and was
struck by the pick up in the white out conditions. Fire Police assisted PSP with road closures until the vehicles could be removed.
