07/20 - 07/21 - Members of Kuhl Hose, Edinboro, Cranesville, and Kearsarge attended a 2 day Rapid Intervention Team Extended course. To be eligible for the course students must have completed the basic RIT course. Day 1 consisted of 1/2 day of lecture and then practical review of advanced firefighter removal techniques. Day 2 involved review and practical scenarios involving the Denver Drill, the Columbus or Nance Drill. The remainder of the day involved scenario's that included all of the practical skills reviewed and learned. The Academy on the Road Program was offered through the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioners Office. Special Thank you to Cranesville FD for their hospitality.
