03/26 - Kuhl Hose received notification indicating that we have met the requirements to be a Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner Recognized Department. The minimum requirement is 10% participation of certified firefighters. There are other levels of recognition at 50%, 75% and 100%. We are currently at 41% department participation with multiple others testing soon to bring our recognition level even higher. The requirements for the program can be found on the Fire Commissioner's Web Site.
