Shortly after 7 a.m. Columbus Fire Department was dispatched to Thompson Maple Products for a silo fire. Corry and Bear Lake Fire Departments were also dispatched to the scene. The fire was confined to the silo. Companies opened a hole in the bottom of the silo, and another at the top and to empty the burning sawdust. Corry ladder 1 was used to open the upper hole and to clean the silo.
