04/21 - Kuhl Hose was dispatched for a brush fire on Dewey Rd early Tuesday afternoon. Captain 691 arrived at Station #1 and could see smoke from the direction of Dewey road and called for Wattsburg, Belle Valley & Perry Hiway. Crews were told that the brush fire was near a barn. 689 & 685 responded along with the mutual aid companies. The fire was contained to about 4 acres of woods/field and was contained before it reached the barn. Crews were on scene for about an hour. Later in the day 689 was requested to assist Brookside with a large brush fire on Hannon Road. While at the Brookside incident 689 was again requested to respond to Rt 89 south of Lowville for a large brush fire across from the Wattsburg Fair Grounds.
