Late Thursday night fire quickly spread
through a Millcreek Township home. The Kearsarge Fire Department was
dispatched to Anderson Drive just after 10 p.m., when a call reported their
neighbors house was on fire.
Flames quickly consumed the garage, basement and spread to the second
floor. Crews initially made an interior attack but went to a defensive mode
due to the condition of the structure and initial low water pressure. Tower
449 was used to help contain the fire and then crews worked exterior hand
lines to bring the fire under control. The fire was under control in about
1 hour with an extended time for overhaul operations.
Kearsarge was assisted by Belle Valley,
Perry Hiway and Kuhl Hose.
