Favorite Firehouse Quote

"Your primary job (when riding the
front seat) is proper size up,
quick report and appropriate initial
leadership/tactics....it is NOT just to blow the sirens,
horns and scream on the radio....the safety of your crew is
#1...take "the front seat" seriously."
Chief Goldfeder
"Contrary to popular belief,
leaders are not born, they are made; and they are
made with hard work and determination" Vince Lombardi
"There has never been a fire we
couldn't put out with 5 gallons of water and a lot of
patience"
"Extinguishing the fire in most cases solves the majority of
problems" Chief Brunacini |

Proudest Fire Department Memory |
The leadership that taught not only
myself but others that I joined the Fire Department with.
Their lessons definitely built some great fire service
leaders/instructors. |
|
Fondest Memory of Kuhl Hose |
Rescuing an elderly woman from her
burning house on RT 8, while the engine crew worked to
contain the fire. It worked just like we train for it
to work. |
