Proudest Fire Department Memory |
1st due to a fire in Dec 09, MVA
on Lake Pleasant Rd and having the patient Thank us about 10
times for doing our job even though he had been trapped in
his car in the cold for some time. Another one is
sitting at Nunzi's for dinner and see a older gentelman
struggling to get out of his chair, so I go over and assist
him and get him into his car. Later that night going
on a EMS call for a fall victim and it was him and his wife
remembered me as that "fine young gentlemen from Nunzi's".
And of course me being me, I see a couple of young ladies
(80 +) get out of their car, and one can barely walk I go
outside and help them up on the curb and open the doors for
them. One lady looks up and says Zack I see, tell your
mom she raised you right, then looks over and see's Kuhl
Hose and thanks me again for doing our job. Things like that
the simple smiles and Thank You's, making a little kids day
when we come visit or drive by and they wave.
That makes all the bad days worth it |
Fondest Memory of Kuhl Hose |
I'm just so glad I took that ride
south one June afternoon little did I know how much my life
would change and how much Kuhl Hose has changed this young
boy to a strapping young man. The 1,000's of people I've
helped. You really don't realize how much you've done
until you just sit back and remember. All the calls good and
bad, "glory" calls and "boring" calls each helped me grow
and learn. |
