NORTH EAST - Just before 6 p.m. Crescent and Fuller Fire Departments along with ALS were dispatched to Sidehill & Mooreheadville roads for a vehicle accident. On arrival medic 99 reported 2 vehicles moderate to heavy damage with possible entrapment. Medic 99 further reported 2 moderate patients one still in the vehicle, with extrication needed due to the position of the vehicle. Both vehicles ended up in large ditches with the one vehicle in a ditch that was very deep. This extrication caused difficulties because of angle of the car and the depth of the ditch. Fuller 204 Engine arrived on scene and assisted with first aid and began extricating the patient. Squad 207 & 217 arrived on scene and transported both patients to Hamot Shock Trauma. Harborcreek Rescue 228 assisted with manpower. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
