12/3 - Just after 5 p.m. Wattsburg, Kuhl Hose and Union City were dispatched to a house fire on Owen Lane in Loweville behind Klicks Artic Cat. First arriving units reported Heavy fire conditions in a Single story residence. 683 arrived supplied Engine 172 with a 5" supply line. Tender 686 worked with Union City, Elgin and Greenfield to supply water from 2 miles away. High winds gusting to near 50 mph hampered firefighting efforts. Crews were on the scene for just over 2 hours. The fire is under investigation, and the occupants of the residence are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
