Just after 09:30 Perry Hiway Firefighters were called to the 2800 block of Chelsie Dr for a car fire. Shortly after the initial call, several new reports that the car was in the garage and there was heavy fire extension into an attached garage. The structure fire pre plan was dispatched and Kuhl Hose, Kearsarge, Belle Valley, and McKean responded with Perry Hiway. Crews encountered a heavy fire in the garage with extension into the side D attic. The first attack crew made entry into the structure and attacked the fire. A back up line was stretched and crews quickly contained and extinguished the fire.

The garage was a total loss, and there was moderate damage to the attic and Side D rooms. The fire is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall.
