02/15 - Just after 2:30 Kuhl Hose, Wattsburg, Belle Valley & Perry Hiway were dispatched to Wattsburg Rd & May Rd for a garage fire. On arrival 680 reported a large detached pole barn heavily involved in fire. With no exposure risks, no life safety issues, and partial roof collapse Truck 30 & the RIT team were returned and the remaining companies responded non emergency. Crews from Kuhl Hose, and the Engine crews from Wattsburg, and Perry Hiway remained on the scene to knock down the fire and overhaul the building.

Tenders from Kuhl Hose, Wattsburg, and Greenfield ran a non emergency water shuttle operation from the municipal hydrant at RT 8 & Wager Rd.

Emergycare S20 assessed and treated the owner for a minor burn to his wrist. No other injuries were reported. Perry Hiway & Kuhl Hose EMS units were used for rehab/warming at the scene.

The fire is under investigation. Crews cleared the scene before 4:30.
