A World Resource Sanitation truck headed east on W 26th st near Raspberry for an unknown reason struck a parked van. Upon impact, the van was pushed into a utility pole then between another vehicle and building landing in the front yard of a nearby house. The sanitation truck then traveled almost a block before the driver was able to stop the vehicle. There were no injuries / Two poles were replaced and some minor power outages were reported. Erie Police are investigating.
